SUMMER TIMELINE IN THE BATTLE BORN STATE at SPRING MOUNTAIN RANCH STATE PARK

Well, today I had the pleasure of a good sunny day and got to see a little history. I went out to the SUMMER TIMELINE IN THE BATTLE BORN STATE at SPRING MOUNTAIN RANCH STATE PARK, which was put on by The Southern Nevada Living History Association and Nevada State Parks. This was a fun event that Southern Nevada Living History Association put together to show folks what life was like back in our country’s great past.

Some of the time eras portrayed at the “Summer Timeline” will be: the Mountain Men, the Roman Army, the Aztec Warriors, the Confederate Army, the Union Army, the Elizabethan Court, the USS United States foundation, and from World War 2; the Russian Army, German Army, and American Army supported by the Las Vegas Military Vehicle Collectors Club.

I had a chance to interview the head of the Southern Nevada Living History Association, Jason Coffey, and will be featuring this interview on TheReenactors.com & International.to later this week. This was a great event for the whole family, as these reenactors are very knowledgeable about our country’s past from weapons and living quarters to the food they ate while on the front lines. These are the stories of our country that come alive with these reenactors and events hosted by The Southern Nevada Living History Association (SNLHA).
